Submissions must highlight camaraderie and friendship within your military squad.
Open to veterans across all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
2. Story Requirements:
Focus: Share a personal story or specific event that captures the bond and teamwork of your squad.
Word Count: Up to 250 words (optimum: 200 words).
Content: Describe how this event reflects the camaraderie, resilience, or impact of your squad on your service and your life.
Security: Do not include sensitive, confidential, or classified information that could compromise the security of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, or other related agencies or operations.
3. Photo Requirements:
Quantity: Up to 3 photos showcasing your squad. Photos can be from your service days or recent squad reunions.
Formats Accepted: JPG or PDF. Black-and-white or color photos are accepted.
Security: Do not include photos containing sensitive, confidential, or classified information that could compromise the security of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, or related other agencies or operations.
4. Permissions:
By submitting your story and photos, you grant Heroes United permission to:
- Edit the content for clarity and appropriateness.
- Publish the material on the Heroes United website and social media channels.
5. Submission Instructions:
Ensure your submission is complete and adheres to the above guidelines. Incomplete or non-compliant submissions will not be considered.
